The Monsoon

The Monsoon is a wind
which affects much of Asia. In summer, it is a
warm,
rain-carrying wind
which blows from the sea to the land. In winter, it is a dry cool wind, blowing
from land to sea.
The Monsoon is a’
convection current
wind'. It blows because of
Temperature differences between the land and the sea. In summer, the
Land heats up more quickly than the sea. Cold air flows in from the sea and warm air rises above the land. In winter, the
land cools down more quickly than the sea. Cold
air from the land flows out to sea pushing warm air upwards above the sea.
